We can hardly believe May is already here! Our team loves the month of May for many reasons: the weather is warmer, our favorite summer activities are returning, and last but not least, we get to shower moms with love and appreciation for Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day is a time for people to reflect on the significant role mothers have in their life. In honor of the amazing moms in our lives, we wanted to share a bit about what Mother’s Day means to us.

So many words are synonyms with motherhood but the main one that stands out for us is, “patience” and then even more patience on top of that! Mothers are so skilled at giving unconditional love to their family, being pillars of strength, having compassionate understanding, strong loyalty, and selflessness. Mothers are truly the emotional backbones of the family. They provide the holding place for everyone’s feelings and do their best to keep us from being hurt.

Mother’s Day is a time for people to reflect on the significant role mothers have in their life and the special memories they’ve created together over the years. Our West Orange manager, Precious, favorite moment with her mother was when she was teaching her how to dance and the smile her mom had on her face.

On Mother’s Day this year, our team member, Ahlam Nassar, is going to celebrate her mother by serving her breakfast in bed with a flower bouquet and treat her to a lovely dinner later in the evening! They usually spend all day together, baking, playing family games, and going to the spa. Later, in the nighttime, she gets taken out for dinner.

Today, The My Orthodontist staff will be giving out roses to patients to give to their mom or the person who plays the role of mom in their life.
