Kai Zhao graduated from Roosevelt University (BA) and the University of Maryland (MBA) and has 20 years of progressive experience in the dental field. Having supported practices ranging from solo practitioners to multi-specialty DSOs, Kai Zhao is a champion of oral healthcare with extensive experience in operations, insurance contracting, and revenue cycle management. Previously, Kai Zhao served as the COO of ProHEALTH Dental and Simply Beautiful Smiles where he designed operational controls and administrative procedures to maximize efficiency and team productivity. He has a solid understanding of dental group practice concepts, potential opportunities, and threats facing dental care professionals today. Kai Zhao resides in New Jersey with his wife Mayda and son Lucas. When he’s not working, he enjoys traveling, soccer, and visiting national parks.
