Nicholas Terrana, DMD, is a specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at My Orthodontist. He was born and raised in Wayne, New Jersey. Dr. Terrana earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ramapo College where he graduated summa cum laude. Afterward, he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Rutgers University. Dr. Terrana then moved to Philadelphia to attend Temple University where he received a specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master’s degree in Oral Biology.

During his orthodontic training, Dr. Terrana wrote his Master’s thesis focusing on treatment outcomes with Invisalign®. He presented his research at the International Association for Dental Research.

Dr. Terrana is a member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists, the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association.

Dedicated to helping his patients, Dr Terrana believes that a healthy and beautiful smile is a key component of overall wellness.

Dr. Terrana enjoys spending time with family and friends, is an avid sports fan, and loves to travel, especially when he can put his quickly improving Italian language skills to good use!
