Barry Elaahi, DDS, is an orthodontist at My Orthodontist, a practice with locations around New Jersey in Deptford Township, Lawrenceville, Medford, Bayonne, West New York, East Orange, Cherry Hill, and Paterson, and in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. At My Orthodontist, Dr. Elaahi lives out his belief that an improved quality of life starts with a healthy and beautiful smile. To that end, he’s a certified provider of Invisalign® and 3M™ Incognito™ lingual braces. Dr. Elaahi earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering and Technology from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Four years later, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in Stony Brook, New York.

In 2010, Dr. Elaahi completed a one-year general practice residency at Stony Brook University Hospital. He continued at Stony Brook for three more years, where he earned his specialty certificate in orthodontics. During his orthodontic training, Dr. Elaahi wrote his thesis on pediatric sleep apnea. For his work, he received the 2013 Leo Sreebny Award for the best postgraduate residency research project. Dr. Elaahi is affiliated with the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the New York State Dental Association. When he’s not working hard for others, Dr. Elaahi enjoys studying and researching evidence-based dentistry, spending time with family and friends, and playing tennis.
