Dr. Andrew Hopkins is passionate about transforming smiles—and the self-confidence that comes with them. With a background in biology from Providence College and a DDS from NYU College of Dentistry, Dr. Hopkins completed advanced orthodontic training at UCLA School of Dentistry. He is also board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.

With five years in the dental field and two years of orthodontic experience in Los Angeles, Dr. Hopkins has developed a reputation for clinical excellence and a genuine connection with his patients, and has completed multiple specialized training programs in his field.

Dr. Hopkins believes that orthodontics is about more than straight teeth—it’s about helping people, especially kids, feel proud of their smiles and themselves. He strives to make every visit fun, easy, and encouraging. “When a patient tells me they feel more confident or that they finally love their smile, that’s the greatest compliment I could ever receive.”

One of Dr. Hopkins’ most meaningful cases involved an 8-year-old patient with cleft lip and palate who had already undergone more than 10 surgeries. After extensive planning, including a bone graft, Dr. Hopkins guided him through full orthodontic treatment. At the end, the patient wrote a heartfelt note saying he felt “safe in the chair” with Dr. Hopkins—something he had never felt with any other provider. “That’s a moment I’ll never forget,” says Dr. Hopkins. “It reminded me why I do what I do.”

Originally from Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, and raised in North Jersey, Dr. Hopkins grew up playing lacrosse, soccer, and tennis. He’s an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and spends most Sundays watching football with friends and family.

He and his fiancée, Stephany, are getting married in Brazil next summer and share a tiny teacup Yorkie named Chloe. Together, they enjoy early morning workouts, beach days, and traveling whenever they can.
